Hammond 147A Overview
The red walnut/walnut veneer version of the Hammond 122A Leslie Rotary Speaker is specifically designed to work with Hammond Organs like the model A-100 as well as spinet models M, M-2, M-100, and L-100 that require a separate cabinet for sound reproduction and use the vintage 6-pin Leslie connector input. To generate sound, the speaker uses a two-speed high-powered horn and a 15" woofer bass rotor with driven by a handcrafted 40W RMS vacuum tube amplifier. Level is adjusted with the master volume control.
